CARING FOR YOUR QUARTZ

CARING FOR YOUR QUARTZ IS EASY

Keep your quartz counters like new

Follow these simple instructions to keep your Paul Ryan Surface beautiful for life.

Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of an engineered quartz countertop, regular cleaning is essential. Use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the surface, and then dry it with a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the surface.

Stain prevention

To prevent stains, it is important to wipe up spills as soon as they occur. If a spill does occur, it’s important to clean it up immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using acidic or alkaline cleaning solutions, as these can damage the surface.

Heat resistance

Engineered quartz countertops are heat resistant but not heatproof. To protect the surface, use a trivet or hot pad under hot pots and pans. Avoid placing hot items directly on the countertop.

Cutting and chopping

To protect the surface, use a cutting board or other protective surface when cutting or chopping. Avoid cutting directly on the countertop.

Scratches and chips

To prevent scratches and chips, avoid dragging heavy objects across the surface and avoid placing sharp objects on the countertop. If a scratch or chip does occur, it can be repaired by a professional.

Harsh Chemicals or Cleansers

Avoid cleaning with or exposing your Paul Ryan Surface to the following:

  • Furniture, oven/grill or drain cleaners
